About Lou and Peter Berryman:
"Rhymes that rhyme! I love your stuff, and if I were still performing, I'd steal it!" Tom Lehrer

"When it comes to being funny, I think I've spent the first thirty years trying to be as funny as Tom Lehrer and the last part trying to be as funny as the Berrymans. They don't come any funnier than that..." Tom Paxton

FYI:
Two of America's finest folksingers and songwriters,
Lou & Peter Berryman are a comedic songwriting team from Madison, Wisconsin, and have delighted audiences from coast to coast, both in their live appearances and in national broadcasts such as A Prairie Home Companion, Weekend Edition, and CBS This Morning. This formerly-married duo shares a fascination with language and a unique vision of the world, at once wildly funny and oddly, gently profound.

Lou & Peter's captivating songs have been sung by Pete Seeger and Garrison Keillor, as well as shower singers everywhere. Among the most entertaining acts touring today, audiences leave Berryman shows with cheeks aching from smiling after an aerobic workout of laughter!

Where:
Located in a beautiful 19th-century church building in Enfield, the McMillan Art Center was opened last summer by Ithaca artist Paul McMillan. The mission of the gallery is to exhibit local as well as regional artists, and to invite others from outside the area to add diversity to complement Ithaca's vibrant arts community.
The historic building has two floors, a community room on the lower floor and an auditorium with a magnificent vaulted ceiling and delightful natural light. McMillan Art Center is located approximately seven miles from Ithaca. Map
